Help with the BusDeck app for iPhone
The fastest route is inside the app. Open Profile → Send feedback. It reaches us with the app version attached, so we can act on it without asking. Or email [email protected]; we reply within two working days.
Service ended means every bus at that stop is outside its timetabled hours; the card rests and shows the first bus of the next day. None tracked yet means the service is running but LTA has no bus on the road for it at the moment, which is normal in the minutes after a first bus leaves the interchange. Both clear on their own as buses appear.
No connection means your phone could not reach the internet. Service down means BusDeck reached its server but LTA’s arrival feed did not answer; the app retries on its own and keeps your last times until it does. If it lasts more than a few minutes, tell us.
BusDeck needs location access while you use it: Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → BusDeck → While Using, and Precise Location on. Your exact location never leaves the phone. Without it the map still works: search for a stop or station and pin it.
Widgets refresh themselves on a schedule iOS controls, roughly every few minutes, and count down between refreshes. Tap the bottom half of a widget, or the Refresh pill when it appears, to refresh now; tap the top half to open the stop in the app. If a widget seems stuck, open the app once: that gives every widget fresh times.
Open a stop and tap + beside a service to pin it. Pinned buses sit at the top of the stop and in your deck on the Widgets tab, and they sync to your account so they follow you to a new phone.
BusDeck signs you in with an emailed code or link, or with Apple or Google. If the code does not arrive, check spam for a message from [email protected], then tap Resend code. Codes expire after a few minutes.
Profile → Account settings → Delete account. This permanently erases your account, pinned stops and widgets. Details are in the privacy policy.
Send feedback from the app if you can. If you email, include:
Bus arrival times come from LTA DataMall. If the times are wrong for a bus that is on the road, the feed itself is usually the cause; we can check on our side and tell you what we found.
